Questions about official Jefferson County criminal records usually belong with the office that created or maintains the file. The contacts below route court documents to the clerk, police and jail material to the correct law-enforcement office, and statewide history checks to the Washington State Patrol.

This Is Not a Government Office. This privately operated reference site cannot retrieve an official record, conduct an official check, change a criminal history, or accept a petition to vacate a conviction. Those services must come from the responsible public office.

Need an Official Record?

Use the record type to choose the right Jefferson County or Washington custodian:

  • Police reports: contact the Jefferson County Sheriff or Port Townsend Police Department, whichever wrote the report
  • Court case files: review the criminal court case records routes, then contact Superior Court Clerk or District Court
  • Arrest, booking, and jail records: use the Jefferson County Jail roster or Sheriff Administrative Services
  • State criminal histories: order the appropriate WATCH or fingerprint product from the Washington State Patrol
  • Vacating or sealing a record: file with the Jefferson County court that entered the judgment
  • Registry records: use Jefferson OffenderWatch or call the Sheriff for registration-process questions
